What is b-LAN?

LodgeNet (now known as SONIFI) developed a technology that allowed televisions to communicate with their on-site servers over an RF coaxial infrastructure. When Hospitality Televisions list “b-LAN” as a feature, it means the SONIFI technology has been built into the television itself. Only properties subscribing to SONIFI’s services or similar services require b-LAN televisions.
