Yes. If you use a non-commercial display in a commercial setting, it voids the warranty.. So, even if the display is faulty, you are still responsible for repairs or replacement. In addition, commercial grade TVs may have enhanced glass screens designed for less image retention issues. Another obvious difference is the lack of a TV tuner (that consumer models have built in). Lastly, Commercial TVs allow properties to lock-out guests from altering the TV settings and often have special features like volume limiters.

Pro Idiom is an encryption technology or use in the hospitality, healthcare, and commercial markets to ensure the security of HD digital and VoD (Video on Demand ) signals.

You do not need Pro Idiom if your property uses a Set Top Box (the box that receives your signal and pushes it out to the TV).

As a general rule, KniTec recommends placing your order 2-6 weeks in advance of your desired delivery date. Wile replacement units can ship same day, orders of 100+ units may vary due to weather, availability, etc.

Typical freight time is 5-10 days. Once an order is placed, we will strive to secure and reserve your items so that once your invoice is paid, your order is released and will arrive as soon as possible.

If your mounts are available in the same warehouse as your display(s), then they will ship together. If they are coming from different locations, we will do our best to land them at the same time at your property.

You will be notified by email when your order has shipped with a copy of the shipment notification including tracking and carrier information. Please note that tracking information may not be available from the carrier until the day after shipment, or until the shipment hits its first hub.This order may be a partial shipment. If you are expecting additional items, the balance of your order should be shipping shortly.

Upon delivery, please inspect the external packaging for signs of damage. For example: box crushed, punctured, torn, wet, dented or missing parts/items.

Signing for the receipt of the shipment implies the shipment was received in pristine condition.

If items in your order arrive damaged, we advise you to NOT ACCEPT the damaged items or boxes. This way you do NOT accept a new problem. We will work with you to get replacements ASAP and advocate
for YOU. We will also make the return process as easy as it can be.

In the event that your order is damaged (minor or major) any holes, tears, cuts, etc. should be noted by writing the words "DAMAGED and the item" on the POD or refusing the item and contacting your sales rep or customer service. For example: “Damaged LCD”, “Damaged Screen” or “Damaged Projector”. Please be as detailed as possible in your description of the damage, as opposed to simply noting “damaged”. Please avoid writing “subject to inspection”, “possible damage” or “box damage”. None of these state specific damage & such notations are considered invalid to the carriers. If there are items missing from your order you must write "ORDER INCOMPLETE" as well as what is missing from the order, on the POD. Keep all boxes and original packaging as photos of boxes are required for a concealed damage claim submission. Inspect the units upon arrival. Concealed damage must be reported within 30 days of shipment (this includes delivery time). Manufacturers defects must be reported within 30 days for replacement.
