Planar QE Series displays are the first end-to-end 4K digital signage system with an embedded media player and software, offering users a simple and affordable way to design attention-grabbing Ultra HD digital signage—free from the complexity of purchasing and servicing multiple components from different vendors.

Planar Content Smart

With the embedded Planar ContentSmart™ 4K Media Player and ContentSmart™ Software, users can schedule, deploy and manage digital signage displays, helping to deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time with Planar QE Series LCD digital signage displays. The embedded media player includes two USB ports and an internal time clock for scheduling playlists, as well as 16GB memory storage and a Micro SD slot for additional expansion storage to store creative assets including video, images, Microsoft PowerPoint® presentations and music. With ContentSmart Software, users can simply click and drag their content into each zone within pre-built templates, schedule and load playlists into the Planar ContentSmart Media Player.

Superior 4K Video Performance and Compatibility

Planar QE Series displays support native 4K resolution at up to 60Hz via HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, enabling smooth motion video and mouse tracking. Compatible with new and emerging 4K sources, the Planar QE Series LCD digital signage displays use HDCP 2.2-compliant HDMI 2.0 inputs.

Quad-Source Viewing

With Planar QE Series Ultra-HD displays, users can view four sources simultaneously in quad layout and receive remote monitoring alerts via email when a designated event occurs. For precise image control, adjustments can be made within each of the four zones allowing users to optimize the picture quality at the source level.
